About Jim:
Jim McGorman has been a pro player for over 15 years (multi instrumentalist/songwriter/producer – guitar/keys/vocals/bass/drums). At 23, he was a part of the seminal band NEW RADICALS, which sold a million records in 9 months. Additionally, he has played, recorded and/or been the musical director for AVRIL LAVIGNE, CHER, POISON, GOO GOO DOLLS, SHAKIRA, WEEZER, MILEY CYRUS, DAVID LEE ROTH, BRET MICHAELS, MICHELLE BRANCH, PAUL STANLEY, AARON NEVILLE, MIGHTY BOSS TONES, and MARC BROUSSARD, and many others. In addition to producing top artists, Jim McGorman played in the house bands for NBC’s The Voice Band, Rock Star INXS and Supernova. A seasoned and highly-entertaining performer, Jim McGorman has played on the biggest world stages and television, including 2010 Olympics Closing Ceremony, Saturday Night Live, The Late Show with David Letterman, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, MTV Latin Music Awards, MTV Europe Music Awards, World Music Awards, and numerous others.
